CONDUCTING CONCEPT

小時候去聽音樂會時，總覺得站在樂團前面的那個人似乎有魔力，能讓前方的一群人隨之起舞、更讓後方的一大群人為之動容。高中時期第一次上台指揮樂團，才真正體驗到這種手握魔杖的感覺，是多麼的美好及不可思議；大學時成為樂團裡的學生指揮，實際體會到樂團在訓練上的種種樂趣與挑戰，並就此踏上了專業指揮之路。

近幾年，我曾屢次在音樂比賽上帶領國立中央大學管樂社與師大附中管樂隊獲得特優的成績，持續在「完美的音準節奏」和「正確的音樂風格」之間尋找平衡點——音樂比賽不只是要求學生演奏出正確的音準與節奏，更重要的是帶領學生演奏出正確的音樂風格。

而相較於比賽，我更享受帶領樂團在音樂會中創造迷人的音樂張力。在籌備一場音樂會的過程中，無拘無束的使用手中的魔杖對樂團施法及調色，做出自己嚮往且風格正確的音樂。

When I was a kid, I always felt that the person stand in front of the orchestra seems to have magic power, who can manage a group of instrument players and inspires hundreds of audiences. When I was the student conductor in University Wind Band, I was so attracted by all the amazing and challenging sides of being a conductor, which brought me to the path of professional conductor. In the past few years, I led NCU Wind Band and HSNU Wind Band to obtain distinction prizes in Taiwan Music Competition. As a wind band conductor, I keep searching for the balancing point between “perfection” and “correction” as I believe that the objective of conducting is not only to lead students to play perfect intonation and rhythm but also instruct them to perform right music styles.
